A few weeks ago, we told you about the Jagran Film Festival happening all over the country, which has been a success throughout. One of the most sought after Film Festivals that travels across the country, it is in its prestigious 10th year and has now come down to the city of the stars – Mumbai. The past few months have been a huge success, with some great films being screened and interesting conversations with the whos-who of the industry. If we have to talk about this weekend, it sure does look like a lot of fun for all cinema lovers with the likes of Kartik Aaryan, Arjun Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and Karan Johar in attendance.
With an esteemed panel headed by film critic Rajeev Masand, we can surely expect some super interesting conversations and discussions about films and the changing landscape in the industry. The films being screened over the weekend will be a varied medley of some acclaimed work – both international and national. There are films like Kireet Khurana‘s T For Taj Mahal, Jugal Raja‘s Bunker, Tibetian film The Sweet Requiem. There are also some really cool regional films that are being showcased – like KD from Tamil, Ghawrey Bairey Aaj from Bengali, and Virus from Malayalam, among others.
This will be one place to explore different genres, styles of filmmaking and stories and we cannot wait to catch it all!
