Ayushmann Khurrana has been ruling the game in the past year with back to back hits and awards for his performance. With so many projects lined up back to back, he has been one of the busiest actors in the industry. So, after the release of his latest film, Dream Girl, he decided to take some time off and be with his family. While we are not sure how long that’ll be for, Ayushmann recently went on to state that the next year is going to be one of his busiest yet.

By the end of 2019, he has the satirical comedy – Bala – directed by Amar Kaushik set to release. But 2020 looks like one busy year for him with Shoojit Sircar‘s Gulabo Sitabo alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Hitesh Kewalya and Anand L Rai‘s Shubh Mangal Zyaada Savdhaan. Both which look like super fun films to look out for. Talking to IANS, Ayushmann said that he is excited for 2020.

Here’s what he said:

It’s looking like a hectic but exciting 2020. I will have at least 3 films releasing again and I can’t wait to show audiences the diverseness of these projects. Each one of these three films has a strong script and the stories are remarkably different. I have always considered real people as the heroes of my films and their lives, circumstances have inspired me to tell their stories on screen. Next year will be no different. Along with these releases, I will have several new exciting announcements to share and I will start filming them too. So, I can’t wait for 2020 – it will be my busiest year in cinema.

We cannot wait for him to make his exciting announcements soon! And until then, enjoy your time with your family, Ayushmann.
