As the temperature fluctuates from dreary clouds to hot summer sunshine, there comes a time where you have to step back and think about your wardrobe choices. While the usual for me would be a pair of jeans and a basic tee, it sometimes is necessary to step up your style game to make a statement. Dresses are usually something I rarely ever opt for but makes so much sense to elevate your style with an understated classic that could be worn out for brunch, a birthday bash and just about anywhere. And Alia Bhatt‘s latest look is so perfect for when you want to show a little skin and make a stylish statement. From the colour to the fit and style, this dress is probably this season’s cutest, and you’re going to want one just like that the minute you see it!
Stylist Ami Patel opted for a mellow yellow Jonathan Simkhai dress that offered up a flattering, yet comfortable silhouette. The Off The Shoulder gingham dress featured sculptural finish to the high-low hemline at the bottom that brought on a very polished, yet stylish feel.
One really cool aspect of the look was the draping ruffles on the shoulder that can converte the look to be a modest cap sleeve silhouette. She kept the look basic by pairing it with white sneakers and kept her hair and makeup look minimal too!
