Every girl dreams of a fairytale wedding that comes straight out of a Disney princess movie, amirite? Pernia Qureshi was one such bride who redefined goals with her regal wedding in Istanbul. Known for her online e-commerce brand, Pernia’s Pop-up Shop, Pernia has always been one of our favourite fashionistas to follow. With Bosphorus set as the perfect backdrop for her magical day, we knew her wedding looks would be nothing short of magnificent too. Spread across 3 days, Qureshi dazzled us with 3 captivating looks that had us dreaming of our very own special day.
Here’s a quick recap of the stunning looks donned by Pernia that will leave you drooling too:
All the looks exuded elegance and an old-world charm with pastels being the theme for all her functions. For her mehendi, Pernia picked a gorgeous ivory kurta set featuring dainty hand embroidery from Pernia Qureshi Brands. Her entire look was alluring and dreamy with pops of bedazzling diamond jewellery that finished her look. For her makeup, Namrata Soni went for a copper and gold smokey eye, bronzed cheeks and a whole lot of highlight. She kept the rest of her look minimal with a nude lip and natural-groomed eyebrows.
Followed by her sangeet, Qureshi chose a captivating lehenga set by Faraz Manan, in a gorgeous rose gold and blush pink hue. From the embellishments on her lehenga to the plunging neckline on her blouse, Pernia looked radiant and every bit as stunning! Her oversized maang tikka, polki choker and layered necklaces really pulled together the entire look to make her stand out even further. For her beauty look, she opted for loose and voluminous curls at the end.
The best was obviously saved for last. Looking like a million bucks, Mrs Gilani dressed in a mesmerising and show-stopping kurta–lehenga set by Élan with a dramatic veil for her nikkah. Her entire custom ensemble was encrusted with crystals, sequins and scallop cuts. What made this look even better was the choice of colour. The cool minty hue was such a refreshing off-set from a usual bridal look and that’s exactly why we loved it even more.
After stalking her elaborate 3 day wedding, it’s safe to say that Pernia Qureshi Gilani set the bar high for all the upcoming weddings to follow.
