Kareena Kapoor Khan entered the film industry almost 2 decades ago with Refugee, opposite fellow debutant, Abhishek Bachchan. 19 years, more than 50 movies, getting married to the Nawab of Pataudi, and an adorable son we can’t get enough of – Bebo’s position in the industry has been unshakeable irrespective of the newcomers pitted against her over the years.
Despite two decades in an industry which is known to be ruthless and unforgiving, Kareena is as loved, admired and in demand as she was back in 2000. At the recently held Elle Beauty Awards, Kareena spoke to the media about being a part of the film industry for more than 19 years.
According to a report in Mid-Day, here’s what she said:
It has been an amazing 20 years. It has been a fabulous journey working with some amazing people. I was born to act because I feel that’s where my passion is and I will hopefully act till the end of my life.
And we sure hope we always get to see Bebo’s gorgeous face on screen!
