Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have been dating for almost 2 years now. The buzz about their relationship began when the two started working together on their upcoming film Brahmastra. While both of them keep it low-key, around mid-2018 both of them admitted to being in a relationship. Ever since then, we’ve seen pictures from holidays they’ve been to, family get-togethers and parties they’ve attended together and so on. Recently, marriage rumours have bee floating around the two as well. While Alia has time and again brushed off these rumours, even her industry godfather Karan Johar couldn’t resist asking about it. Recently at the Jio MAMI Movie Mela with Star, 2019, Alia was in conversation with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karan.
Karan, unable to resist from asking all the ‘tough yet interesting’ questions, asked Alia if she ever imagined there would be a day she might be Kareena’s sister-in-law.
To which Bebo instantly replied saying:
Honestly I never thought about it but I don’t want to think about it now also. We will cross that bridge when we come to it.
On the other hand, Alia said:

Even Karan added that if and when it does happen he will be exceptionally happy and will be standing there with a thali.
He further added:
I do hope, eventually, whenever you do kind of get into that zone, you will actually handle and treat your career like Kareena has.
Alia agreed with Karan by saying that how Bebo handled her career after her pregnancy has been something that she looks up to. She also said that there used to be a certain notion that the career of an actress slows down after she has children but Kareena has bust that notion.
