How often do we see a real-life royal wedding take place, right? And when it comes to Rajput weddings, it is one affair you cannot miss. From the rich history to the gorgeous song and dance sessions, it’s all things Big Fat Indian Weddings are made of. Television actress Mohena Kumari Singh, who is known for playing Keerti Goenka on the popular television series, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, got married in such a royal fashion this week.
Mohena tied the knot with Suyesh Rawat in a traditional Rajput style wedding in Haridwar, and pictures from her wedding have been going viral on the internet. She looked absolutely stunning in all her wedding functions, right from the Mehendi to the sangeet, right up to her wedding.
We especially dig the authentic jewellery she adorned for her mehendi – with the Rajwari nath, heavy earrings and maang teeka. For the wedding, she chose to go the traditional way, with an authentic red coloured lehenga choli. Fan accounts of hers and the guests shared inside videos of her haldi, mehendi and sangeet ceremonies where she is seen glowing, and posing with her friends and family. The hashtags for the wedding were #MoBanGayiDulhaniya and #SuMoKiShaadi. The wedding hosted around a few lakhs of people and Yoga guru, Baba Ramdev was also present to bless the couple.
