On Monday, Nicki Minaj announced that she was finally married got to her boyfriend Kenneth Petty. Nicki has been open about her relationship with Kenneth and has called him her husband several times before causing a lot of speculations about their relationship status.
But we finally got a confirmation when Nicki posted a video on her Instagram account. In the video, we can see a matching Mr. and Mrs. mugs along with black and white baseball caps with Bride and Groom written across the front.
The rapper also told the world her official new name – Onika Tanya Maraj- Petty.
In August, on her Queen Radio show, the rapper had revealed that she had filed for a marriage license. And would be married in 80 days. Nicki was travelling after she got it done and had to get it renewed again by the time she got back. But Nicki still had work commitments to attend to.
At the time she had said that she has to work on her album and she had a lot to focus on. She didn’t want to do a wedding at the moment and she would do a big wedding later.
Nicki and Kenneth have been dating since 2018 and made it Instagram official in December last year. They treat their fans to pictures of them together quite often and we love it. Earlier this year, she had tweeted about retiring to start a family, but soon took it down.
