Rajkummar Rao is winning the hearts of the audience with every film he is doing. Right from Newton, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Stree to his recent release, Made In China, Raj has proved his mettle as an actor and the masses cannot stop being in awe with him. Raj was currently present on Neha Dhupia‘s talk show where the actor spoke about how his parents reacted to his nude scene in Love Sex Aur Dhokha. Raj said that when the director, Dibakar Banerjee approached him it was one of the happiest moments for him.
Raj said:
Then, after two days, I met Dibaker Banerjee and he then told me, ‘you know, there is a scene where you have to be fully naked in the scene’. It took me seconds to just understand, and then I said, ‘yeah it’s fine, it’s my job’. I said, anything for my part. But I knew that I would now have to tell my parents and my family!
He further added that his parents were cool with the scene and he had to just tell them about it.
They (the actor’s parents) were cool. I just told them, I didn’t even ask. I just told them, ‘there is this film I got’, and they were very happy. And then, ‘you know, in the last scene I might be naked’. They were like, ‘What!’ I said mujhe nanga hona padega shayad! I told them, ‘(I’ll be required to expose) only back, only back… no frontal nudity’. They were okay with it, never discussed this point.
On the work front, Raj will also star opposite Priyanka Chopra in the screen adaptation of The White Tiger. Coming back to the news, Love Sex Aur Dhokha will be one of the noteworthy films in Raj’s career and we cannot wait to see what more he has to offer.
