If you love Bollywood and are a social media addict like me, you also must have seen (or rather inhaled) all the pictures from the starry Diwali parties held this weekend. A number of our celebrities turned up looking and feeling their festive best, making it hard for us to resist scrolling and double tapping.
However, there was one prominent couple whose absence was felt by fans all over. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone celebrated their first Diwali as a married couple, away from the media glare. As per a report in Pinkvilla, #DeepVeer decided to skip all the parties and spend some quality time with both their families.
A source close to the publication revealed that the Bhavnanis and Padukones were in Mumbai to celebrate the festival with the newly married couple. The families had a quiet few days at home and therefore, no #DeepVeer spotting at Diwali parties. Well, now you know why there wasn’t any buzz related to DP and Ranveer on Instagram either.
