Trust me when I say this, no one loves a good satin-matte finish foundation as much as I do. If I had a penny for every time I had to use foundation to cover the evidence of my late-night Netflix marathons and binge eating, I could finally afford that trip to Provence that I’ve always been dreaming of. The kind of foundation you use can really make or break your makeup look. A good quality foundation can make your skin look even, dewy and flawless. However, the only downside to them is their exorbitant prices! If you don’t want to take a small loan every time you go makeup shopping, then have a look at these affordable foundations:
1. L’Oreal Paris, Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation, INR 750/-
This foundation is perfect to wear on an everyday basis. Even though it’s waterproof and smudge-proof, it’s lightweight and comfortable to wear. I use this foundation when I know that I have a long day ahead of me! It’s long-lasting and makes your skin look airbrushed.
2. Maybelline, Fit Me Matte+Poreless Liquid Foundation, INR 549/-
What can I say about this cult-favourite foundation that hasn’t been said before? If you’re looking for a lightweight, non-comedogenic and matte foundation then say hello to your new BFF. This foundation is perfect for you if you have oily or acne-prone skin since it’ll make your skin look matte and reduce the size of your pores. What makes it even better is its affordable price.
3. Nykaa, SkinShield Anti-Pollution Matte Foundation, INR 799/-
Rarely have I ever come across a foundation that is hydrating, non-comedogenic and lightweight at the same time. This affordable foundation is totally an all-rounder product. It’s easy to blend, offers a good amount of coverage and it’s easy on your skin.
4. Wet n Wild, Photo Focus Foundation, INR 599/-
This Peta certified vegan product is the underdog of foundations. If you’re going to be photographed then you should definitely wear this foundation. Since it’s tested under seven light conditions and it helps prevent white cast in photos, it’s perfect for photographs.
5. SUGAR, Ace Of Face Foundation Stick, INR 999/-
Say hello to convenience and fantastic results thanks to this stick foundation. I was always very sceptical to use a stick foundation because I thought it would result in cakey skin and it would be a nightmare to blend. However, I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. This foundation stick is creamy, lightweight and super convenient! Besides the fact that this foundation is affordable, what I love about it is that I don’t have to worry about it leaking in my bag. So it’s a win-win, amirite?
