Shahid Kapoor is riding high on the success of his last release Kabir Singh. The actor is known to get into his character’s skin seamlessly. Recently, the announcement for his next film Jersey was made. Quite obviously, Shahid fans are waiting to know more about it.
We got to know that the actor is already deep into preparing for his character. You will see Shahid playing a cricketer on screen. Being a perfectionist, Shahid is regularly going for cricket sessions to learn the ropes of the game.

Talking about the film, Shahid said:
It took me some time to decide what to do next after Kabir Singh. But the minute I saw Jersey. I knew I wanted it to be my next. It is a wonderful, inspiring and personal human journey that I connected with deeply.
The film will go on floors by November end in Chandigarh. The movie will be directed by Gowtam Timnanauri who directed the original Telugu version. The film will be produced by Allu Aravind, Aman Gill, Dil Raju and is slated for release on 28th August 2020. We can’t wait to see what Shahid will bring to the big screen with this new avatar.
