Priyanka Chopra Jonas won over our hearts and the theatres here in India with her amazing performance in The Sky Is Pink and I clearly couldn’t get enough of her. Now, I am super excited for her next outing here in India alongside my other fav actor – Rajkummar Rao! She is all set to star in the Netflix original, The White Tiger and is back in Delhi to shoot for it. While we always love to see PC share her excitement of being back in India, this time around, her excitement seemed a little dampened by the extreme pollution plaguing the capital city.
Like always, PC took to Instagram to share her trademark selfie once she landed in India. But, this time around, she had to mask her face – not to avoid the paparazzi, but the intense pollution in the city. She wrote, “Shoot days for The White Tiger. It’s so hard to shoot here right now that I can’t even imagine what it must be like to live here under these conditions. We r blessed with air purifiers and masks. Pray for the homeless. Be safe everyone.”

Wow, it does seem like a pretty tough situation back there! Totally agree with PC, we need to be safe and pray for some much-needed solutions.
Back to her work, The White Tiger is based on Aravind Adiga‘s book of the same name, and Priyanka will be sharing screen space with Rajkummar for the very first time. We are super excited to see this lead pair in the film!
