Amitabh Bachchan just completed 50 years in the industry recently and is still touted as one of the most relevant actors we have today. Though age seems like it’s just a number for him, health scares do kick in with age. Recently, Amit Ji was said to be admitted to the hospital due to bad health, but it was rubbished saying it was a regular checkup. But he is certainly weak and has been advised by his doctors to take full rest.

In a tweet, he shared a picture of his on a hospital bed, all cosy in his socks, as he caught up on a game of football. While he does mention that he is recuperating and is slowly feeling better, fans sent in tonnes of well wishes and love asking him to feel better soon.

Here is his picture:

He recently also had to cancel his plans of inaugurating the Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF) because of his health, where doctors had advised him to take it slow.

In his blog, Amit Ji expresses his regret, saying:

Sad and in regret to not be able to travel for KIFF to Kolkata .. an event that has invited me for years .. I think now 7 years .. and the speech .. glorifying cinema and the research by educated assists from dear friends .. gone.

We sure do wish for his speedy recovery, and can’t wait to see him back on his KBC chair and on the big screen! He has Ayan Mukerji‘s Brahmastra in the pipeline, along with Gulaabo Sitabo alongside Ayushmann Khurrana.
