Emraan Hashmi Reveals That The Makers Prioritized Rishi Kapoor's Health Over The Body's Release

Just a few days back the trailer of The Body dropped on the internet. The film which is a Bollywood adaptation of a Spanish film with the same name released in 2012. The Bollywood version stars Rishi Kapoor, Emraan Hashmi, Sobhita Dhulipala and Vedhika. The film was slated to release last year but was pushed to this year due to Kapoor’s health, reported Midday.

Talking to the tabloid, Emraan said:

 I was in touch with Rishiji during his treatment. So, I knew it would take some time. I have had a similar tragedy in my family, although the cancer was different. I knew it was treatable, more so because Rishiji was strong. the makers patiently waited for him. It wasn’t like anyone was thinking about the delay. Money was riding on the project, but everyone was forthcoming.

He further said that the veteran actor is very sweet in person and isn’t close to the person he appears to be on social media.

 Far from it. I had the same perception based on his twitter [ feed], but he is a sweetheart.

The trailer of the film looks intriguing and we cannot wait to watch it!
