It’s always super cool when our Indian actors go ahead and put us on the global map with their work. Be it Priyanka Chopra, Huma Qureshi, Irrfan Khan or Anupam Kher, they have all starred in some great American television and digital series over the years. Now, another one of our very own actors, Preity Zinta, has joined the cast of the American sit-com ‘Fresh Off The Boat‘.
‘Fresh Off The Boat‘ is a story of the lives of a Taiwanese-American family staying in Florida. Priety put up a picture of her in her vanity, after hair and makeup, mentioning how she is super thrilled to be a part of the series. She exclaims saying she is glad she is alive after the first day of the shoot as she was so nervous about it. It is, of course, a new territory, a new industry altogether, and we are super thrilled for her.

How cute that she is agreeing to feel like a newcomer after all these years in front of the camera! Well, Priety is always cute! And it will be exciting to see her act opposite some great actors like Randall Park, Constance Wu, Hudson Yang, Forrest Wheeler, Ian Chen and Lucille Soong who star in lead roles. The show first aired in 2015 and is currently on its 6th season.
