Anees Bazmee is all set to tickle our funny bone with Pagalpanti. The film that releases on 22nd of November stars John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Kriti Kharbanda, Pulkit Samrat, Ileana D’cruz and Urvashi Rautela. While the trailer of the film was every bit funny, one song that caught our attention was Bimar Dil. The song has been recreated which features the entire cast. The original version was a part of Chaalbaaz and featured Sridevi and Sunny Deol. In an exclusive interaction with us, Urvashi revealed that the song was one of the main reasons she signed the film.
Urvashi said:
My introduction in the movie is with Sridevi ma’am’s classic cult song from Chalbaaz, Tera Bimar Mera Dil. So, when I got to know that I have this role and this is my introduction song, I was very elated because she’s one of my favourite actresses and to be able to recreate some of her creations is a dream come true.
She also said that the best part about the recreated version is that it has a spooky feel to it.
It is very horror-inspired song. It has a very horror feel to it but at the same time there is some sensualness to it. It’s a very current generation kind of song and I really enjoyed shooting it. There are certain portions in it where I have experimented with my step. One of them is like a spider move, which you will get to see in the movie. I’m very happy with the kind of treatment the song has been given.
The actress spoke about how her co-star John is an inspiration to all the people who come from beauty pageant background.
I was happy to work with John. I found a great friend in John and Anil Kapoor. They are the people who I talk most too and interact with because our interests are the same. John is a great example for all the outsiders of how he broke through with his modelling and now he’s established a name for himself. He’s actually an inspiration for all of us who come from beauty pageant background or even modelling background.
