Vaani Kapoor recently posted a picture of herself wearing a top which had Lord Sri Ram printed all over it. However, the photo wasn’t received well by some netizens who felt that it hurt their religious sentiments. Rama Sawant, a Mumbai resident reportedly filed a complaint against the actress for an offence punishable under section 215A of the IPC.

According to IANS, the Rama’s complaint read:
The undersigned is an ardent devotee of Lord Shri Ram. The undersigned has come across a photograph of Bollywood actress by name Ms. Vaani Kapoor on her Instagram, where under, she is found in vulgar cloth in semi-nude position and over her body and more particularly from her shoulder to breast, she is found to be wearing blouse/brassiere made out a cloth-like Ramnami, in as much as the names of Lord Shri Ram has been described containing ‘Shri Ram’, which denotes to Lord Shri Ram.
Vaani later deleted the post when it received so much flak. However, it had already gone viral by that time.
