A local corporator, Gopal Manda has reportedly sent a legal notice to Censor Board chairperson Prasoon Joshi, the film’s producer Aditya Chopra, director Gopi Puthran as well as the Information & Broadcasting ministry, appealing them to remove the name of the city from the film.

Kota is known for its academics and hundreds of students visit there for various competitive exams. The complainants are worried that its portrayal in the film might ruin the city’s reputation.
