Blushes are one of the most underrated makeup products out there. A sweep of the right colour can instantly liven up any complexion in a very subtle manner. However, the wrong hue can make your face look ashy or clown-like. To prevent this from happening, I’ve curated a list of 7 blushes that work for us desi girls!

1. Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge For Lips & Cheeks In ‘Blushed Rose’

This brown-toned pink is great at adding a hint of warmth and colour to your cheeks. The creamy formula goes on sheer and melts seamlessly into the skin. If you prefer a stronger flush, you can layer on the pigment to increase the intensity.

2. Clinique Cheek Pop In ‘Cola Pop’

Duskier complexions shouldn’t think twice before picking up this gorgeous compact! The deep burgundy hue literally makes your cheeks pop, whilst providing a radiant finish. Use a light touch when applying this formula, as a little really does go a long way.

3. NARS Blush In ‘Orgasm’

With a fan following that spans across several age groups and countries, this award-winning rouge is the one to get your hands on. The peachy-pink shade flatters all complexions, whilst the gold shimmer keeps the skin luminous. It’s actually one of my favourite formulas!

4. ColourPop Super Shock Blush In ‘Count Me In’

I’m obsessed with this long-lasting blush. The soft pink formula glides on like silk to deliver a healthy flush of colour that will brighten up your face within seconds.

This deep terracotta blush is perfect for a sun-kissed look. The matte formula plays up warmer complexions in a natural way and looks great all year round. You can even apply a tiny bit onto the tip of your nose to bring your look together.

7. Dior Rouge Blush In ‘555 Rose Dolce Vita’

For a sophisticated look, opt for this dark plum rouge. The saturated formula ensures that your cheeks are swathed in colour, whilst the satin-like finish imparts a lit-from-within glow.
