Bollywood actress Shweta Basu Prasad who was last seen in The Tashkent Files took to Instagram on Monday to announce her separation from her husband and filmmaker Rohit Mittal. The post which Shweta shared on Monday evening spoke about how both of them have mutually decided to part ways for the betterment of each other. In the post, Shweta also spoke about how it is better to leave some things unfinished. She concluded the note thanking Rohit for all the memories and promised him to be his cheerleader forever.

Shweta and Rohit tied the knot last December in a private ceremony in Pune. The pictures were all over the internet and both of them looked adorable together. The couple has been seeing each other for years now and had got engaged in 2017 when Rohit had proposed marriage to Shweta in Goa.
On the work front, Shweta began her Bollywood career as a child artist with Makdee. She also starred in television shows like Kutumb, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii and Karishma Kaa Karishma. She has also starred in Bollywood films like Badrinath Ki Dulhania and Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota.
