For those of you who are still unaware Kapil Sharma and his wife Ginni Chatrath welcomed a baby girl days before their first wedding anniversary. And you can imagine, as a newbie dad, the comedian is super happy about it. He took to Twitter to announce the happy news a few days ago and was flooded by congratulatory wishes from celebrities and well-wishers from all over. Today, Kapil took to Instagram to thank everyone for their blessings as well.

Despite having a newborn baby girl Kapil is hell-bent on sticking to his shoot schedule for his show The Kapil Sharma Show. The newbie dad reportedly hasn’t slept a wink in 2 or 3 days and even when the makers of the show asked him to postpone the shoot, Kapil was determined to complete the shoot with the team of Good Newwz and Chhapaak on two consecutive days. His daughter was born on 10th December and he shot back to back on 11th and 12th December. While promoting Chhapaak Deepika Padukone even asked him to show her his baby’s pictures.
Talking about fatherhood, he said:
Yes, I have had sleepless nights but the feeling of being a father is out of this world! I am overwhelmed with all the love. I have had about of terrible cold because of which I haven’t held my baby in my arms and I just want to hug her and tell her how much I have waited for this day to come. Both Ginni and the baby are healthy and doing well. Fatherhood has definitely brought in a lot of responsibilities, and I am looking forward to the same.
He also recently disclosed that he and Ginni had always wanted a baby girl and they’re extremely grateful to have been blessed with a daughter. We wish Kapil and Ginni nothing but the best. We can’t wait to see the picture of the little one.
