Every time Kajol returns on-screen, she manages to surprise us. Such is her aura and charm. She is one of the ladies of Bollywood who every 90’s kid is in love with and why not. She is a perfect combination of wit, beauty and skills. While she looks every bit gorgeous in the trailer of Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, she is making her OTT debut with Tribhanga. The film which is directed by Renuka Shahane is a story that pans through three generations and also stars Tanvi Azmi and Mithila Palkar. While the shoot just wrapped up two days ago, Renuka can’t stop praising her leading lady, reported Midday.
Renuka said,
She is choosy, but one must do roles that speak to their heart. During the shoot, she told me, ‘ You have to direct me. If I am not doing something properly, please tell me.’ All directors would want to have such freedom. Kajol wants to have clarity before she begins the shoot. This way, anything that happens on the set does not come as a surprise. And yet, once the camera was switched on, she would weave her magic.
Shahane further added that the actress has been brave to accept the film.
Kajol has been brave in accepting a film like Tribhanga. She’s one of those few stars who are pushing the boundaries. She’s a [ gifted] woman who has been underutilised in our films.
Seems like Tribhanga is going to be a film to watch out for. We can’t wait to watch it already!
