For a very long time in my life, I had always looked up to Kareena Kapoor Khan as Poo, from her movie Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham. She was so good in the film, that everyone assumed Kareena was Poo in reality as well. And why not? She belongs to the first family of Bollywood – the Kapoor family, and is beautiful and amazing overall! But Kareena says that she doesn’t have any intention to project herself as a serious actor and that she, in fact, loathes being referred to as a diva now!
In an interview with Mid-Day, Kareena says that she is not an actor with a strategy and adds:
That’s because I am a filmy child who knows what entertainment is. People have assumed I am a diva, but I loathe the word now. My PR game is not strong; there’s a zero strategy behind who I am. I have never bothered about projecting myself as a serious actor. I am happy when my fans are happy and my film is a success. Then, I whisk off on a holiday.
Well, that’s the way to be, right? Do your thing, and then whisk off on a holiday! Best.
