Rani Mukherji took a sabbatical from the movies after the birth of her daughter, Adira. She has, ever since, been fairly picky about the roles she portrays on screen such as Hichki, Mardaani and now Mardaani 2.
Life changed for Rani post pregnancy, inevitably. Adira has her mommy wrapped around her little finger and the latter is not complaining. The actress loves being a mother and has unconditional love for her daughter. During a chat on No Filter Neha, Rani said:
I understood what true love is when I had Adira. It would matter to me if my husband (Aditya Chopra) didn’t reciprocate my love, but it doesn’t matter if Adira loves me or not. My affection for her is unconditional. More than my husband, I can be manipulated by Adira.
Aww, so cute! I guess that’s what motherhood does to a woman. It teaches us how to love unconditionally and more.
