Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday
Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday

Everybody was looking forward to Ananya Panday‘s debut in 2019. She was one of the best finds of 2019 and she proved her mettle in the year. She made her debut with Student Of The Year 2 which also starred Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria. While the film didn’t really do well at the ticket windows, Ananya’s performance was highly appreciated. She later starred in Pati, Patni Aur Woh with Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar and the film is doing great business at the box office. Amidst all the brilliant work, the actress was busy doing interactions and she exclusively revealed to us the questions that she found really funny.

Ananya said,

There were so many. I think because Kartik (Aaryan) and I were promoting the film together, most of the questions were about are you’ll dating? They would ask us very openly and people expected us to answer if it’s a yes or a no. That’s a funny question we got and we used to laugh about it all the time. Also when people asked us what is your first impression about each other. That was a very recurring question. Also, how does it feel to work with each other? Who’s going to say something bad? It’s obviously going to be good only right!

She also spoke about how she reacts to criticism she gets online.

I react very well to criticism. It depends on the kind of criticism. If it is constructive and comes from people who are well versed with what they are criticizing me about, I am all in for it. If a critic says that my dialogue delivery could be better or if a good dancer says that I can improve on my dancing then that’s well informed. I want constructive criticism. I want to better myself and I’m all for that. I feel like hating and trolling for no reason isn’t great. I choose to ignore if people comment on the way I look, the way I speak or the person, the person I am dating or whatever I am doing with my life.

Ask her if she still feels the pressure and she added that with every film, the pressure only rises.

I think the pressure increases with the number of films you do. I am not perfect and I am learning with each thing I am doing. I think the pressure adds because you have to keep on outdoing yourself and reach a certain point.

The actress has got a lot of love this year and she is only elated.

I am elated. Happy is too small a word. It’s not enough of an emotion. I think gratitude is the most important thing for me right now. I thank god every single day that I am working and doing what I love to do. I am taking each day as it comes. I am grateful that I am getting to be an actor every single day. I have waited for this moment for my entire life so happiness is not enough.

We cannot wait for the actress’s release next year!
