Sonakshi Sinha and the entire team of her upcoming film — Dabangg 3 — are currently promoting their film in full swing. Directed by Prabhudeva, the third instalment to the series is all set to bring back Salman Khan as Chulbul Pandey and his shenanigans on the big screen and is also introducing the young Saiee Manjrekar on the big screen.

According to reports, during one of Sonakshi’s interviews with Quint, the actress was asked about how the age gap between Salman and Saiee in the film, to which she replies saying she hadn’t thought of it that way. She adds that the question needs to be directed to Salman and ask him about what he eats to keep looking young.

She says:

No, actually I haven’t because, for me, it’s a job, right? And hats off to him for having sustained a career for so long in the industry, and you know, still working with as much gusto as he did, initially. And I think it’s great to have achieved something like that. So if you have a problem with it, you should go and ask him.

When questioned about whether the case would be different for a woman, like Madhuri Dixit to romance a younger Ishaan Khatter, Sonakshi says it would be odd. When asked about why that bias exists, she adds that that is the country we live in.

When asked for what she personally thinks of it, she says:

Honestly, if I was, I was at an age of 50, I would feel odd romancing a guy who’s 22-years-old.

Dabangg 3 also stars Kiccha Sudeep, who plays the antagonist in the film, and is all set to release
