Filmmaker Umesh Shukla has given us some noteworthy films like OMG: Oh My God! and 102 Not Out. Last year he made his debut on OTT after he directed Modi: Journey Of A Common Man on Eros Now. The web series was highly praised by the masses and ever since then, the audience is looking out for his next outing. Now, a source exclusively revealed to us that the filmmaker has already begun shooting for his next film.

The film will star Mrunal Thakur and Abhimanyu Dassani. It is a light-hearted comedy and is currently titled Gupp Chupp. The cast last year was on a 20 days schedule in Switzerland and have already wrapped its first leg. The makers are looking for a release in the second half of the year and the official announcement will be out soon. Apart from Mrunal and Abhimanyu, the film also stars Paresh Rawal, Seema Pahwa, Darshan Jariwala, Divya Dutta and Abhishek Banerjee.
Mrunal, who made her Bollywood debut with Love Sonia in 2018 was seen opposite Hrithik Roshan in Super 30 last year. This year, she was seen in Netflix‘s Ghost Stories in the tale directed by Karan Johar. Apart from this film, she also has Jersey starring Shahid Kapoor and Toofan with Farhan Akhtar in her kitty. Abhimanyu, on the other hand, made his debut in 2019 after he starred in Vasan Bala‘s Mard Ko Dard Nahin Hota. The actor is also shooting for director Sabbir Khan‘s next titled Nikamma which also marks Youtube sensation Shirley Setia‘s Bollywood debut.
