Deepika Padukone Starrer Chhapaak Declared Tax Free In Madhya Pradesh

Deepika Padukone is super excited about her next film Chhapaak. The film which is directed by Meghna Gulzar hits the screens tomorrow and fans are eagerly looking forward to this one. While the critics have already given their thumbs up to the film, the masses will watch it tomorrow. The buzz about the film has been great and now the makers have another good news coming their way.

Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Kamal Nath tweeted that the film is going to be tax-free in Madhya Pradesh. He further wrote, ‘This film which spreads a positive message regarding the treatment of acid-attack victims in the society, tells the story of their courage, struggle and their passion for life and aims to bring a change in the society’s mentality on the same.’

Chhapaak narrates the story of acid attack survivor Laxmi Aggarwal. Apart from Deepika, the film also stars Vikrant Massey. Apart from this film, the actress will also star in Kabir Khan‘s ’83 and essay the role of Romi Dev. She also has a Shakun Batra film on cards.
