It’s no secret that I absolutely adore makeup! Although I would love to play around with my palettes and highlighters all day, I often find myself with barely any time to do up my face. Luckily, I’ve figured a few foolproof products that can get me ready in less than 10 minutes. Here’s a quick look at what my routine looks like!
1. Base
Who has the time to deal with makeup brushes and sponges when they’ve slept through their alarms? Certainly not me! That’s why I prefer using products that I can apply with my fingers. The Lakmé Absolute Mattreal Skin Natural Mousse works well to even out my skin tone and never feels heavy on my skin. When the weather is drier, I swap this out with the It Cosmetics CC+ Cream with SPF 50+ since it’s more hydrating. Both these products give me natural-looking coverage, without any greasiness.

2. Brows
Over time, I’ve realised that filling in my brows makes a world of a difference to my face. Whilst I’ve tried many formulas in the past, the Benefit Cosmetics Goof Proof Eyebrow Pencil is the one that’s currently ruling my stash. The angled tip helps fill in my brows quickly and always provides definition.
3. Eye Liner
If there’s one thing that you can mark as my signature look, it’s definitely a crisp, cat-eye! Stila’s Micro Tip Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner has a fine and flexible tip that allows me to get the precision I need, whilst providing a glossy and inky sweep of colour that doesn’t smudge at all.
4. Mascara
Eye liner and mascara are a couple that should never break up. To ensure that my lashes look full and fluttery, I turn to the Maybelline Volum’ Express The Colossal Waterproof Mascara. The plumping formula and gazillion bristles deliver clump-free lashes like no other.
5. Lipstick
Whilst I’m a huge fan of liquid lipsticks, I do know that I can’t fuss with them when I’m in a hurry. Instead, I turn to pigmented and easy-to-use formulas like the Huda Beauty Power Bullet Matte Lipstick in ‘Third Date’, which is a beautiful, deep rose hue. If I’m in the mood for something brighter, you will find me applying a coat or two of Clinique’s Chubby Stick Intense Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm in ‘Plushest Punch’, which is a peppy pink hue.
