Ending a relationship with a loved one is never an easy phase for anyone. And when it is a marriage, it is only harder. But in a few rare cases when the decision is mutual, there is still a chance of a cordial friendship afterwards. And seems like that’s the case with actress Shweta Basu Prasad and husband Rohit Mittal‘s relationship. The actress posted a note on her Instagram in December where she stated that she is heading for a separation from her husband.
In an interview with SpotBoyE, Shweta spoke about her relationship with Rohit now and said that they are very much cordial.
She shares:
Rohit and I are perfectly cordial and friendly. As I had mentioned in my post it was a mutual decision. He has always been very supportive of my acting career and I am his fan, he is a wonderful filmmaker and I hope we work together someday. We had five years of a very loving, healthy and loyal relationship. We just decided to end the marriage and remain friends, that’s it.
She also spoke about how she is open to the idea of finding love but is not looking for it as of now and wants to focus on her career at the moment. The couple tied the knot in Pune last December, after four years of dating.
Talking of her work, Shweta was a part of the film, Tashkent Files and is now all set to star in a Zee 5 Original film, Shukranu.
