Ishaan Khatter maybe two films old in the industry but he surely has managed to carve a niche for himself. Be it with his debut film, Beyond The Cloud or his second film, Dhadak, Ishaan has managed to impress the masses. His acting chops have already got thumbs up from the audience and we cannot wait to witness what more he has to offer.

While the love from the masses has been pouring, ask the actor if he feels the pressure and he immediately responds,

I have only done two films so I can’t say for myself if I have created a niche. I have tried to do different work from each other. Everything I have been a part of has been really different. I’d like to continue that as best as I can. The reason for that is because this is what I seek and enjoy. I don’t feel the pressure, I find it empowering. It’s great to be recognized for the choices but because I have only just begun, there is a lot more on that front to be revealed.

Ask him whether his choices of films have been a conscious decision and he says,

I am naturally attracted to unusual but appealing content. For me, it doesn’t feel viable unconventional, I am have been lucky so far to a be a part of stories that have some element of novelty and newness to them. As for Khaali Peeli and A Suitable Boy, they are very different from each other and even from the first two works I’ve done. Which I find very enjoyable and I’m very excited about it but since there’s nothing much out there of either of those things, I won’t say much more.

While the actor has been doing a brilliant job at the films, he also worked on an ad film with Anil Kapoor. Talking about it, the actor added,

I think I was happy to associate with a music brand like Spotify. The ad film had an amazing vibe to it and it featured with me Anil Kapor Sir who is a livewire and a performer. Shakun (Batra) who is one of my favourite filmmakers. It was a wonderful setup and I would be happy to continue doing such ad films. The ad film was an interesting mix of energies. We had fun making it and I think that’s what people are enjoying it.

We are looking forward to his future projects and we cannot wait to witness them!
