Last weekend, veteran actor Shabana Azmi met with a horrible accident on the Mumbai-Pune expressway when her car rammed into a truck. Shabana ji was terribly hurt after the crash and immediately taken to a hospital in Panvel; and later shifted to Kokilaben Hospital.
Several celebrities who are close to the family rushed to the hospital to check on the injured actor and fans also shared their concern on social media. Javed ji finally took to Twitter to share an update on his wife’s health:
Our family would like to thank all the friends and well wishers for their concern and messages for @AzmiShabana. This is to let everyone know that she is recovering well and most probably will be shifted to a normal room tomorrow.

We are glad to know Shabana ji is recovering well and hope she gets to go home soon enough. Meanwhile, her driver has reportedly been booked for rash driving and an FIR has also been registered against him.
