Pooja Bedi‘s daughter, Alaya F will soon be making her Bollywood debut in Jawaani Jaaneman. The young debutante is playing the role of Saif Ali Khan‘s daughter in the film, a role which was first offered to the latter’s real life daughter, Sara Ali Khan.
In a recent interview, Saif revealed that the makers initially had Sara in mind to play his daughter on screen. She, however, had to turn it down as she was reportedly busy with her debut film, Kedarnath at the time. Being the second choice never bothered Alaya though, as she mentioned to SpotboyE during an interview:
I had read articles but I never asked anybody about it, neither the producers nor Saif. It never really bothered me.
You go, girl! It’s heartening to see such maturity. The important thing is doing what you love and doing it right, isn’t it?!
