It’s time to dig deep into your closet and search for the forgotten polka-dotted outfit you have because this classic print is making a huge comeback this season. Last year, we saw an increase in the leopard and snakeskin print. However, this year, celebrity stylists have shifted their attention to polka dots and so many celebrities were spotted on the streets sporting this print. And why shouldn’t they? This print is so versatile! Be it a saree, a skirt, a top or a dress, this spotty print can make your outfit look super fresh and fun. Furthermore, you can wear it for several occasions. It is surely here to stay this season as proven by some of our favourite Bollywood divas. So, ditch the animal prints for a bit and take tips from them on how you can ace this trend.

1. Disha Patani

The gorgeous Disha Patani has been in the limelight for her upcoming movie, Malang. While she was spotted in some great outfits for her promotions, this look has been my favourite so far. I loved how Mohit Rai has styled this beautiful green polka-dotted dress with tie-up stilettos and let her beachy waves add an oomph factor to the look.

2. Katrina Kaif

A black and white polka-dotted shirt is a wardrobe staple but have you ever tried pairing it with a yellow wrap skirt just like Katrina? It’s simple, yet chic and we all can take inspiration from this look, noh? Styling credits go to Ami Patel.

3. Kriti Sanon

Breaking a print with a solid coloured accessory is a great way to style a print. Case in point, Kriti has used a white belt to cinch her waist but what also adds a wow factor is the neon flats and yellow shades. Isn’t this a cool lewk?

4. Deepika Padukone

If you own a dress with large polka dots as a print, take notes from Deepika’s 80s look. Her stylist, Shaleena Nathani pairs the dress by simply adding a headband and a pair of small, gold hoops and voila! You’re good to go and your vintage look is ready.

All these stunning celebrity looks have motivated me to pull out my dotty dress and wear it now. I think I will try each of the looks. What about you? Let me know in the comments below.
