Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor starrer Brahmastra has been creating buzz for a while now. The film which is directed by Ayan Mukerji is a sci-fi and is produced by Karan Johar‘s Dharma Productions. While we are looking forward to this one, a report in Mumbai Mirror stated that Shah Rukh Khan will be making his cameo in this one. A source also told the tabloid that just like others, SRK’s character too will have a mythological touch to it.
When the tabloid got in touch with Karan he revealed that the entire cast and Ayan is eternally grateful that Shah Rukh decided to be a part of this one. Johar also said that the energy SRK gets on the sets is exceptional. He further revealed that the release date of the first part will be announced soon and the film will surely be something new for the Indian cinema.
Apart from Brahmastra, Karan is also working on his next directorial, Takht. The film which is a period drama set into the Mughal era stars Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Anil Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Vicky Kaushal, Janhvi Kapoor along with Alia.
