It’s been a while now since Kabir Khan‘s ’83 has been announced. The film which stars Ranveer Singh essaying the role of Kapil Dev will hit the screens on the 10th of April this year and fans are looking forward to this one. While the first look of the film was quite impressive, in an interview with Midday, Dev spoke about how Ranveer shifted to his house for 10 days to learn his mannerism.
Kapil said,
Ranveer told me that he wanted to be with me. I don’t know what he was trying to [ study] — my actions, my manner of talking or pronunciation. [During the 10- day stay] he was dieting because had to lose weight. He was also practising [ with me] during that time.
He further revealed how the film will showcase what happens in the dressing room.
People know little about what happens in the dressing room, but, when the movie comes out, it will be a different [ revelation]. People don’t know too much about what happens in the hotels and at team meetings. [ The film will depict] how we planned [ the match]. It will also highlight how much fun we had while we played.
Apart from Ranveer, the film will also star Deepika Padukone who will be essaying the role of Romi Dev. We cannot wait to watch this one, what about you?
