Vicky Kaushal sure did make us all fall in love with his innocence and charm in Masaan and had us screaming, ‘How’s The Josh‘ with Uri: The Surgical Strike. Now, he is all set to win us over with a grave and impactful horror tale, Bhoot. A first for him in this genre, I am super excited to see Vicky in this film. Set around a dead ship called Sea-Bird that washes up on the shore of Juhu beach in Mumbai, this Bhanu Pratap Singh directorial also stars Bhumi Pednekar in the lead role.

Vicky plays a surveying officer, Prithvi, who looks into the inspecting the mysterious ship. Right in the beginning, we are shown that the ship is haunted. Now, the rest of the film seems to be based on how he gets sucked into this ring as he finds out more about the ghost residing in there. Also, talking of horror movies, isn’t it all about the right music that sends a chill down your spine? Well, this film is all about that creepy background score and sound effects, giving it all the spook it needs!

Don’t know about you, but I surely jumped in my seat when the song goes off from that doll. Can’t wait for more such moments throughout the film and to just see Vicky too, TBH!

The film is produced by Karan Johar‘s Dharma Productions, Hiroo Yash Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Shashank Khaitan and is all set to release on the 21st of February.
