Only a few experiences in my life are forever etched in my memories and the Galentine’s getaway with Malini’s Girl Tribe is surely one of them. A few days ago, I attended a mini-getaway with a few members from the tribe at this beautiful property called Forest Hills at Tala. To say we had an epic time would be an understatement! I’m sure some of you must be wondering what ‘Galentine’s’ is. Well, it’s just like Valentine’s but instead, you celebrate it with your girls. So, a lucky bunch of 25 from the tribe got to come along with us and we had a blast. Here’s what went down during out mini-staycation:

Day 1

The Journey Begins:

We booked a bus for us from Mumbai to Tala (near Raigad) and we had a five-hour journey ahead of us. During the ride, we played fun games, ate some delicious snacks and got to know each other. I’m not going to lie, it was a bit tiring to be on the road for so long, but it was so worth it!

Experience:

As soon as we reached, we headed for lunch with a beautiful view beside the pool. This helped us unwind and look forward to a  lovely evening that we had planned ahead. We then checked in to our rooms which were absolutely stunning. After resting for a bit, we headed to the area beside the pool for high tea and games, followed by a tarot reading session hosted by one of our talented members from the tribe and an affirmation card reading hosted by Malini’s lovely sister. The night was honestly the best part of the trip! We had an open theatre movie night with loads of wine and some yummy BBQ. We watched our all-time fav, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. We ended the night with a delicious dinner at the campsite.

Day 2:

Yoga session

The next morning, we woke up at 7:00 am for a one-hour yoga session hosted by one of the members of the tribe. The view was stunning and the whole experience made us feel rejuvenated and rested. It’s the best way to start your day with some positive energy.

Breakfast and activities

We headed for breakfast after a yoga session followed by activities like ATV rides, rifle shooting and visited the petting zoo at the property. Some of the girls also enjoyed the spa or some pool time. Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better afternoon!

Lunch And Saying Goodbye

We ate our last meal at Forest Hills and checked out of our rooms by 4:00 pm to head back to the bay.

I can’t wait for the next staycation with the tribe. If you also want to be a part of this and more such events, join Malini’s Girl Tribe on Facebook and follow @malinisgirltribe on Instagram for more updates.
