When it comes to experimenting with style, Malaika Arora and Amit Aggarwal always seems to be ahead of the curve. Her on-point and on-trend looks are fodder to my imagination and give me plenty of gumption to try out my next daring look.
Maneka Harisinghani styled Malaika in a gorgeous neon green ensemble by Amit Aggarwal. The asymmetrical, drape dress featured a gathered neckline, exaggerated puff sleeves and pleating that makes the body of the dress look like a tulip. The neon sequin dress might come as a shock to most eyes but looks so fabulous on Malaika. She’s known for wearing bold looks with panache from time to time. I did think that the neon shoes could have been given a miss and instead a sleek pair of silver or gold shoes to lighten the colour palette would have been a nicer touch.
For Malaika’s glam, the highlight was side-swept wavy hair. Smoky eyes, bold brows, flushed cheeks and nude lips finished out her look with perfection. I feel like the smokey eyes were a good call to break the bright neon of the outfit. Also let’s not forget those gorgeous chrome, silver nails.
