Kanta Laga girl and recent Bigg Boss contestant Shefali Jariwala and Parag Tyagi have been very candid about wanting to adopt a baby girl. In an interview with Mid Day, she revealed that there was a lot of paperwork involved in the process but they were hopeful it’ll get done soon.
During a recent media interaction, she opened up about how the seed of adoption took place for her. She revealed it had been her dream to do so since she was a child.
From the moment I have understood the meaning of adoption which was when I was, 10 or 11, I always wanted to adopt a child. It is difficult, especially when you can have your own children. There is pressure from the society, from friends and family, but Parag and I spoke about it and we want to adopt a girl child. The process is ongoing and pretty tedious. There is a lot of paperwork involved but we are hopeful it will be done soon.
The couple who got married back in 2014, but began the process of adoption only after her exit from Bigg Boss 13. It’s so heartening to see when celebrities lead by example.
