Sonam Kapoor Ahuja is known to make waves with her sartorial choices. She and her sister Rhea Kapoor run a successful brand called Rheson and she also runs Bhaane with her beloved husband Anand Ahuja. The clothes from both brands clearly reflect Sonam’s refined taste and curation.

Sonam posted pictures of her recent visit to Qatar where she attended The Doha Jewellery And Watches Exhibition. The actress is the ambassador of DJWE 2020. She made us believe, she was an oasis in the middle of the desert with her gorgeous feminine looks— a beautiful mirage in beautiful clothes.

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja In Erdem

Call me obsessed, but I love me some print-on print action. I love it even more when print in different colours are mixed together. I love that Sonam pairs her Erdem floral, mermaid skirt with a black and white printed shirt from the same brand. Rhea Kapoor is a styling genius and adds this gorgeous eggshell coloured blazer to break the prints. The cascading overlap on the jacket makes for an interesting detail. The addition of this diamond and pearl encrusted brooch adds emphasis to her oversized, peak lapels. It is quite lovely and renaissance looking and matches her studded dangly earrings. Let’s not miss the beautiful pearl embellishments on the sleeves of the jacket. The look is squared off with chunky, platform gladiator shoes and a mid-size black handbag. I love everything about this look except those shoes that feel too chunky on this dainty and otherwise feminine look.

For her glam, Arti Nayar keep the makeup neutral and fresh. Blush pink lips and smokey brown eyeshadow were her focal points of the look. Hiral Bhatia gave her wispy locks that were pinned in a half up-half down hairdo.

In Etro And Ekaya Banaras

Sonam’s jacquard, ecru gown from Etro is to die for! I love the floral print with bright pops of blue, that then tie into the blue on the jacket. The dress that features a slight flare waist down also features pockets. YAY! She layered her floral gown with a yellow and electric blue Banarasi jacket from Ekaya Banaras that features golden buttis all over it. She paired her print-on-print look with brocade juttis by Shutiq. I thoroughly enjoyed how these prints have woven magic together even when they normally wouldn’t have worked together. She accessorised her look with tiny pearl earrings, a chunky necklace with a matching bracelet from Bulgari. A classic watch from ICW watches completed her look seamlessly.

Arti Nayar goes for a subtle look to keep the focus on the statement making outfit Sonam’s wearing. Rosy tones on the cheeks and lips finish out her glam. Hiral gives her a low chignon hairstyle.

I think look 2 was my favourite because I truly enjoyed the pairing of Indian textures with International fabrics. Which one these looks from Sonam Kapoor Ahuja do you like most? Let me know in the comments below.
