We can always trust Neena Gupta to be absolutely frank and honest when it comes to speaking about her personal as well as professional life, right? Be it about her asking for work, or talking about how she dealt with raising her daughter, Masaba Gupta, as a single mother, she has such gems of wisdom that she so nonchalantly throws in. Now, again, she put out a video on Instagram as part of her series that’s called ‘Sach Kahoon Toh‘ where she drops truth bombs like it’s hot!
In this session, she speaks about something very personal. She talks about how when women fall in love with married men, it causes her a lot of mental trauma when they refuse to separate from their wives. She says that she herself has gone through this in her life, and speaking from personal experience, she urges her followers to be vary of such complicated relationships. Neena Ji was in a relationship with West Indian cricketer Vivian Richards in the 1980s, with whom she had Masaba. But she raised her daughter on her own, and didn’t marry him. She later married Vivek Mehra, a chartered accountant in 2008.
