Take it from someone who always struggles to get a good OOTD picture (especially given the industry I work in), it definitely ain’t a walk in the park. No seriously, kudos to the bloggers, vloggers, influencers and any and everyone who takes (and makes) their outfit pictures look so effortless. Malaika’s looks have always caught my attention! Now, I’m not sure if anyone’s really noticed but joining the ‘effortless OOTD‘ club of pros are our B-town celebrities. Although, out of them all, Malaika Arora has proven to be something of an icon!
In her latest drool-worthy post, I don’t even think I’m focusing on the Dany Atrache Couture gown as much as I’m jaw-droppingly staring at the way she’s taken and posed for the picture.
Stylist Maneka Harisinghani does a fantastic job with the choice of garment that truly has Malaika standing out from the crowd. The chiffon, off-shoulder bishop sleeve went on loose at the top with a thin piece of fabric holding it together. While the rest of the gown was entirely embellished and fit really well.
I’ve got to admit, I’m loving Malaika’s whole messy-bun-with-a-gown vibe and I think it’s something we can all take some inspo from. Those cascading, chandelier earrings look amazing as they graze her collar bone. Bushy brow, smokey eyeshadow and s muted lip amp up the vibe of this stunning look. Aside from how good Malaika looked, I’m really into the theme of the shoot—very circus chic, don’t you agree?
