Glowing skin has been trending for a few years now so it’s safe to say that highlighters have made their mark in the beauty industry! Whilst there are a ton of formulas out there, it can get confusing to find shades that flatter Indian complexions. Hence, I decided to curate a list of tried-and-tested highlighters that work well with our desi skin. Scroll below to get all the details!

1. Smashbox Halo Glow Highlighter Duo In ‘Golden’

Fearing two shades of gold, this little compact is ideal for those who like to play around with their makeup! One side contains a putty-like formula, which provides a soft sheen, whilst the other has a powder to amplify the shine. Use each shade alone or layer one over the other to get the glow you desire.

2. Benefit Cosmetics Sun Beam

This highlighter is all about that lit-from-within glow. The fluid formula blends into the skin seamlessly whilst providing a golden-bronze coat of colour and a beautiful, luminous finish. It’s actually one of my favourite highlighters to use!

3. Stila Heaven’s Hue Highlighter In ‘Incandescence’

This peachy pink shade is an unlikely pick, but once you try it, you will be hooked! The lightweight formula melts into the skin and delivers a pop of colour along with a whole lot of shine.

5. Chanel Baume Essentiel In ‘Transparent’

This luxurious formula really is universally flattering, In just a sweep, it leaves behind a dewy, yet natural-looking glow that is hard to beat. If you prefer your highlighter to be free of any shimmer or glitter, this clear formula is the one to invest in.
