The Covid-19 virus, that has taken over the world, has led to a global lockdown amongst us. It is a time when we are being asked to stay home and all public spaces are shut so as to keep the virus from spreading. Given how much this has impacted lives all around, producers of films and TV shows are all rushing to register titles related to the subject.

In latest news, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, who made the iconic film Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, is quite irked on hearing that some production house has registered the title ‘Corona Pyaar Hai‘ as well. Yes, that’s a title that has gotten registered to be made into a film or a series, guys.

Speaking to Mid-Day in an interview, Mr. Roshan said:

It’s a mockery of the situation that the world is combating. It’s childish and immature to do such a thing at this time. We should ignore these people as they are not thinking straight. There is no similarity between the two films. Even with regard to the names, their title Corona Pyaar Hai has a different meaning to it. So, I cannot do anything about it.

The publication also stated that the title was registered with the Indian Film and Television Producer’s Council by Eros International.

The coronavirus outbreak has certainly affected the industry and most film and television production and shooting has been put on hold until a better time keeping the safety of everyone involved in mind.
