Just a few weeks ago, we told you about Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal getting engaged to be married! Ali and Richa have been together for a long time now and we were super excited for them to take the next step.
But, given the current scenario and the unfortunate turn of events owing to the COVID-19 pandemic globally, the couple have tentatively decided to postpone their wedding functions to the later half of 2020. They were previously supposed to have a registered marriage and celebrate with their family and friends around the third week of April.
Their spokesperson released a statement saying:
They wish for everyone to be healthy and safe and at no cost would want their friends, families and well wishers to be affected.
Well, it sure is a very thoughtful decision.
The couple have been seeing each other since 2015, and marriage was the next step in their relationship. Witty, woke and so fun — they are one couple who have always given us major couple goals. We sure can’t wait to see them married very soon, in much healthier and safer settings! Lots of love to you both, Ali and Richa!
