Even though there is a 21-day lockdown in our country, it hasn’t stopped people from working from home. TBH, I like that I’m able to because it keeps me occupied. On the days that we were able to get out of the house, we would all follow a routine and dress up for the office, amirite? However, most of us are working in our PJs or just dressing our top-halves for video calls. This isn’t necessarily happening with some of the fashion influencers tho. In order to cope with the quarantine period, they are all dressing up and adding some makeup just to follow that routine. They all believe that dressing up is the key to feeling normal even during this phase and is a good coping mechanism. Everyone seems to have their own methods of dealing with this lockdown and this is how style influencers are dealing with it. So, check out some of their cool work from home looks.
Juhi’s black and white striped co-ord set is a vibe. It’s sexy and summery but still looks super comfy to wear in this hot and humid weather. What do you think? A bold lip shade completes her look.
Debasree believes in dressing up and following her daily routine even when isolating. In one of her Instagram posts, she said,
Getting dressed up is the first step to finding purpose at home. Get up, make your bed, and get ready like you would on a normal work day. I’ve been working from home for several years now and this really helps in changing my mindset into a productive one. This is my first day of #QuarantineWithMe and this small act of getting dressed made me happy.
I not only love her quarantine motto but also her cool look with that white top with cutwork detailing and denim shorts!
Here’s another relaxed style from Aashna. Her grey pyjama set has an athleisure-like touch to it. Her clean, minimal outfit also looks very comfortable and I’m sure it must be adding that much-needed comfort while working.

For those of us that have the privilege of being in the comfort of our own homes for this 21 day lockdown, if there are things you’ve been putting off, now’s the time to get to them. Since staying indoors is all we can do right now (apart from helping those in need), I thought I’d make use of this time, and so I’ve shared 21 changes I’m making in these 21 days on my YouTube channel! We’re on Day 5 and I’m currently pretty proud of the progress I’m making, but go watch the video and tell me something you want to improve or change and how you’re spending your time in isolation!☺️🖤 (link in bio)
Let’s take notes from Urmi’s chic look. She paired a black camisole with crushed, cotton pants. Aren’t they the perfect lightweight pieces to wear at home?

I hope you are all doing good in this self-quarantine situation & mainly all abiding by it? Are we? Its the least we can do for our own good! . For people cribbing about it, remember you were cribbing about going to work & not getting enough time to do things for yourself! Take this time constructively, self evaluate yourself, spend quality time with your family in person or virtually, its that spare time that we all have always asked for & it definitely will never come back. It is us who can make or break the situation! . I urge you all to take this self isolation time seriously for ourselves & for others around us! . Take basic precautions • Wash your hands for atleast 20 seconds • Sanitise • Avoid social gatherings • Avoid touching your face, nose, eyes and mouth • Wear a mask if you are going down to get fresh air • Avoid sharing the elevator with a group • Sanitise your door knobs, keys, phones couple times a day • Get treated and checked if you notice any alarming symptoms – fever/ chills/ cough/ pneumonia, etc. • Don’t hide your travel history & if you are feeling any symptoms, get treated immediately! • Dont over-stock on necessities, lets buy things in moderation so that everyone can have everything! . I am so thankful to have this privilege to sit & work from home or even just sit at home and do nothing. Think about the people still working out there, risking their lives for us – Nurses & doctors, our building security guards, courier guys, house helpers, government officials, the media & so many others! Like PM Modi said, lets get on our front doors/windows & clap for all these brave people at 5pm on 22nd March! . Also apart from the Janata Curfew this Sunday, lets practice curfew even otherwise for a couple of weeks as much as we can to save the world from this Pandemic! . #covid19 #gocoronago #savetheworld #savetheplanet
You can also utilize this quarantine period to experiment with trends. Roshni pairs her red bustier with fitted pants that have a skirt-like drape attached to it. You can certainly create the bottom half using DIY methods.

If your job requires you to dress formally even on video conferences, take inspiration from Ritu’s OOTD. She paired a white and blue striped, puff-sleeved top with grey, flared pants. It not only looks formal for a work call but also looks comfortable and effortless.
I like how all these bloggers are finding new ways to dress themselves up. How you dress really impacts your mood and affects your productivity.
