Yep, you heard that right! Lizet Ocampo, the political director at People for the American Way is the boss in the video who accidentally turned herself into a potato and couldn’t figure how to fix it back to normal. And like the rest of us, she too had to schedule work meetings over video calls. Which is where Lizet’s trouble started.
The organisation she works for does work like encouraging Latinx voters and helping progressive candidates to win the elections. And a part of her work includes joining a regular virtual happy hour as a fun way to connect for the community leaders, hosted by Equis. To make this happy hour more fun, she decided to download some funny webcam filters to use. But she later forgot about it till her video meeting with her colleagues on Monday morning.
So when the meeting happened and she looked in the camera, she saw herself as a potato. But since she didn’t know how to turn it off, she just gave up and continued the meeting as a potato. After the meeting, one of her colleague tweeted about it with a screenshot.
my boss turned herself into a potato on our Microsoft teams meeting and can’t figure out how to turn the setting off, so she was just stuck like this the entire meeting pic.twitter.com/uHLgJUOsXk

Well, I think we could use a few filters in all our meetings too, no? Let us know in the comments below what filter would you use in a team meeting!
