It almost feels like we’re under a never-ending lockdown. But for good. As health authorities and governments all around the world say, this is the only way to defeat the novel coronavirus. But as days go by of us, sitting at home and socially distancing ourselves, celebrities, brands and many others are coming up with new ways to entertain us.

Have you cleaned your house from top to bottom? Bored of binge-watching? Tired of trying new recipes? For all the Potterheads I’m the mix, J.K Rowling has some good news for you. The author of the Harry Potter series took to Twitter to announce the launch of her new website called Harry Potter At Home that is an interactive website that allows you to take online Hogwarts classes. The author in her tweet mentioned that this was to help parents, teachers, and caregivers who are looking for new ways to keep their children entertained.

Check out her tweet:

The website also includes special contributions from Bloomsbury and Scholastic, nifty magical craft videos, fun articles, quizzes and a lot more for first-time readers and those who are hard-core Potterheads.

For those who’ve grown up with the books and are older, there is Hogwarts Is Here a very well-run fan site that houses seven different classes that fans can sign up for that Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft And Wizardry teaches. Namely, Defense Against The Dark Arts, Transfiguration, Astronomy, Charms, Herbology, History of Magic, Potions. No better time than this to brush up on your magic than now, amirite?

And of course, there’s still Pottermore to find out which house you belong to and read all the extra titbits about the Wizarding world. As a Potterhead myself, I can’t thank Jo Rowling enough for this in such tough times.

If I don’t respond to any work calls or texts, just know that I’ll be busy taking classes in Charms and Defense Against The Dark Arts, y’all!
